Tchaikovsky har mesterlig beskrevet utviklingen av et ikke-menneskelig intelligent samfunn. Fra de føste forsiktige samarbeidene mellom enkeltindivider, til mer kompleks interaksjon mellom grupper, tidlige konflikter, utfordringer og utvikling. En troverdig skildring av et samfunn med kultur og struktur ulikt vårt eget, men allikevel med gjenkjennelige trekk. Jeg likte også den siste, desperate resten av menneskeheten, deres håp og drømmer, ambisjoner og kreativitet, og ikke minst vilje til å overleve tross all motgang! Dette var en smart, spennende og overraskende bok. En av mine favoritter fra 2019! Jeg koste meg med denne boken.
