WIZARD LIZARDS Solte’s next stop in the fiend realm is a city populated by walking, talking lizards who are gifted magic-users—which is a good thing, since she and her friends are being pursued by Napta, one of the Knights of Retribution tasked with capturing Black. Napta is different, however—he looks, talks, and even smells like a fiend. In Lizard Town, Solte and the others can rest, relax, and regroup in relative safety. But for how long? Series Overview: In a world plagued by magical pollution, Solte—an orphan whose mother and father were killed trying to wipe out this blight—decides to follow in her parents’ footsteps. But rather than cleansing the pollution, she wants to venture into it, like the Salvagers who reclaim treasure from its depths. Only she wants to travel farther, to see if she can find the other side!
