Sikras is a necromancer who raises the dead, but to save the soul of his best friend he needs to journey down to the fiery realm of Chthonia, to fulfil a deal with one of its hellish inhabitants.

He cares too much about the demoness Helspira to ask her to follow. But he's never had to ask. Even though Chthonia is the site of her greatest trauma, and the one place she never thought she'd return to, she's determined to stand by his side.

To survive there, Sikras will have to lean into his dark side, and Helspira will learn things about him that test the fragile bonds the two are forming. How far will Sikras really go, and how far can she follow?
